Lage

Liederbach am Taunus is a municipality with about 9000 inhabitants in the Main-Taunus-Kreis in Hesse, Germany.
Liederbach borders in the north on the town of Bad Soden am Taunus, in the east on the community of Sulzbach (Taunus), in the south on the city of Frankfurt am Main and in the west on the town of Kelkheim (Taunus).
The Schmiehbachtal, located in the northwest of the district, is a popular local recreation area for the Liederbach population.

Liederbach lies on the Königsstein Railway with Liederbach station and Liederbach Süd station.

Parallel to the railway line, Landesstraße 3016 runs from Unterliederbach in the southeast through Oberliederbach to Kelkheim in the northwest. The Landesstraße 3014 runs as the Limesspange from Schwalbach am Taunus in the northeast between Bad Soden and Sulzbach to Niederhofheim and on to Kelkheim.

A large data center is being built on the former Coca-Cola site. The Liederbachschule is the local primary school.

Secondary schools can be found in neighboring cities such as Kelkheim, Bad Soden, Schwalbach, Frankfurt or Sulzbach. Last but not least, the nearby district town of Hofheim also has a reputation as a school town

Inter-urban road traffic is served by a junction of the Bundesstraße 8 on the northeastern edge of the village and a junction of the Bundesstraße 519 in the west.
